Wine 101: A New Six-Session Series
Join us for another round of Wine 101, presented by WSET Diploma Candidate, Ashley Meyer!
Think of this as a fresh take on our first six-week series. We’ll revisit some of the foundational ideas of wine education while exploring new regions, different grape varieties, and fresh food pairings along the way. Whether you joined us for the first series or this is your first Wine 101, there will be plenty to discover.
Each one-hour session will combine guided theory, wine tasting, and collaborative conversation in a relaxed, approachable setting. You’re welcome to attend the entire series or drop in for individual sessions — we know life happens!
$20 per person per session | $15 for wine club members
All classes are held on Mondays and begin at 6:00 PM.
Session Schedule: Aug 31 — Back to the Basics: Tasting & Wine Evaluation Revisit the WSET systematic approach to tasting while exploring a completely new lineup of wines.
Sept 28 — Exploring the World of Wine Regions Travel beyond the familiar and discover how climate, geography, and place shape the wines in your glass.
Oct 26 — Grape Varieties: Same Grape, Different Place Taste how the same varietal can express itself differently depending on where and how it is grown.
Nov 30 — Wine & Food: The Art of Pairing Explore the principles behind successful pairings while tasting wines alongside a variety of foods.
Dec 28 — Beyond the Classics: Discovering Different Styles of Wine Explore styles and regions that may be new to you and expand your understanding of what wine can be.
Jan 25— Putting It All Together Finish the series with a guided tasting that brings together the concepts we’ve explored throughout the six sessions.
New series, new wines, new things to learn. Even if you joined us for the first Wine 101, you can absolutely do this series again — and leave with a whole new set of discoveries.
